Andrea G. Jefferson
President & Chair
Dr. Andrea Green Jefferson served as the Assistant Vice President for Development, Southern University System. She also served as the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at Southern University at New Orleans, as a member of the Southern University System Board of Supervisors, and as Chair of the Baton Rouge Community College Board. She is a Director on numerous other boards, and has served on the Editorial Board of three scholarly journals and as Editor of a national professional organization’s newsletter.

Lucius Perry Gregg Jr.
Vice-Chair
Lucius Perry Gregg Jr., native of Henderson, NC, received a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy. He was the fourth African American to graduate from the Academy, and the first to graduate with distinction. He completed advanced studies at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he received an MS degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics. He also completed the Advanced Management Program, Harvard Business School, and received an Honorary Doctor of Science Degree from Grinnell College, Iowa. Mr. Gregg is recognized with distinction as a former Pilot, Aircraft Commander, U.S. Air Force; President, First Chicago University Finance Corp; Vice President Corporate Communications Hughes Aircraft Co., Hughes Electronics, Los Angeles, CA. He was selected in 2006 to be listed in Who's Who in Science & Engineering, Who's Who in Business, and Who's Who in the World.

Sybil H. Morial
Secretary
Mrs. Sybil H. Morial is a Director of Liberty Bank and Trust Company. She serves as a member of the Metropolitan Area Committee Education Fund, Tulane University Presidents Council, and the advisory committee of the Tulane Medical Center. Mrs. Morial is Vice-President of the International Womens' Forum, and President of the Womens' Forum of Louisiana. She is on the Board of Directors of the Public Law Center; Vice-President of the Earhart-Tulane Corridor Association; President Emeritus of the Louisiana League of Good Government; and Honorary Chair of the Friends of Mercy Hospital.

Rosanne Adderley
Dr. Rosanne Marion Adderley is Associate Professor of History at Tulane University. She holds a B.A. in History and Latin American Studies from Yale University and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Comparative African Diaspora History from the University of Pennsylvania. Professor Adderley arrived at Tulane in 1996 after a year as a Mendenhall Fellow at Smith College. From 1999-2000 she held a post doctoral fellowship at the Carter G. Woodson Institute at the University of Virginia. Since moving to Louisiana, Professor Adderley has also worked in several volunteer leadership positions for Amnesty International (USA).

Kim M. Boyle
Ms. Boyle is a partner in the law firm of Phelps, Dunbar. She practices in the areas of labor and employment, civil rights, contsitutional law, and commercial and general litigation. Currently, she is president of the Louisiana State Bar Association and served as past president of the New Orleans Bar Association. Ms. Boyle is a member of the Louisiana Recovery Authority and served on the Bring New Orleans Back Commission, two organizations formed after Hurricane Katrina to focus on rebuilding efforts. She also served as co-chair of the Committee for a Better New Orleans/Metropolitan Area Committee, on the advisory board for the United Negro College Fund, as a trustee for the WYES-12 board of directors, and as a board member of the Bureau of Governmental Research. She earned her law degree from the University of Virginia and earned her undergraduate degree from Princeton University.

Edgar John Bullard III
Mr. Edgar John Bullard is The Montine McDaniel Freeman Director Emeritus of the New Orleans Museum of Art. He has been involved in numerous civic activities in New Orleans, serving on the Board of such organizations as the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, Louisana SPCA and the New Orleans Opera Association. He was awarded the Order of the Republic of Egypt in 1978 for the presentation of the Tutankhamun exhibition. In 1987 he was made an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters by Loyola University of New Orleans. In 1994 he was made a Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters of France for his service to French culture. Under Mr. Bullard's direction, NOMA successfully completed and opened a 55,000 sq. ft. addition to the Museum, the result of a $23 million capital Campaign. In May 2003, following a $10 million Capital Campaign, NOMA opened the Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden, one of the finest outdoor sculpture collections in the country. 

Anthony D. Capps
Dr. Anthony D. Capps is a physician and was a clinical instructor at Tulane University and Louisiana State University medical schools. He was a Medical Consultant for Operation Crossroads America and was on the Infant Mortality Review Board for the City of New Orleans. He served as a member of Mayor Marc Morial's Transition Task Force/Health Industries, and was Board President of HEER-US, Inc. Dr. Capps served as the Physician Advisor for All Congregations Together, and as chairman of the annual fundraiser, ACT in the Park. 

Larry L. Earvin
Dr. Larry L. Earvin is the fifth President and Chief Executive Officer of Huston-Tillotson College, located in Austin, Texas. Dr. Earvin has spent his academic career in public policy research and in a variety of administrative posts. Dr. Earvin's reputation as an efficacious leader was established during his seven years as Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at Clark Atlanta University. He serves on several commissions and boards in higher education and is active in national and international higher education initiatives in the the United Methodist Church. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC), a member of the National Association for Equal Opportunities in Higher Education (NAFEO).  

Beverly Wade Hogan
In May 2002, the Tougaloo College Board of Trustees named Dr. Beverly Wade Hogan, former trustee and College administrator, the 13th President of the College. Throughout Hogan's distinguished career, she is credited with pioneering programs that improved the quality of life for many citizens, including but not limited to the founding of the first psychiatric halfway house in Mississippi; establishing the first rape crisis center and shelter for battered women; and initiating the states Self Employment Demonstration Project to reduce welfare dependency. She volunteers and serves on various boards, including the Mississippi Womens' Political Network, Mississippi Infant Mortality Task Force, Metro Chamber of Commerce, and the Mississippi Opera Board. 

Bernice Powell Jackson
Besides serving as the Pastor of First United Church of Tampa, the Rev. Dr. Bernice Powell Jackson also serves as president of the North American region of the World Council of Churches. Serving on the United Church of Christ national staff for nearly two decades, Dr. Jackson was the founding Executive Minister of Justice and Witness Ministries and one of the five officers of the demonination. She has been a activist on behalf of human and civil rights, and has been an advocate for peace with justice around the world for more than three decades.

Cora Ann Presley
Dr. Cora Ann Presley is Associate Professor of African American Studies at Georgia State University. She received her Ph.D. in African History from Stanford University. Dr. Presley has taught African and African American History at Loyola University (New Orleans), Tulane University, and Humboldt State University. She has authored several works on African women and has received several prestigious grants. Dr. Presley has an ongoing interest in educational outreach. She has developed seminars and summer programs for secondary and elementary school teachers and currently directs the African American Department Education Outreach initiative for Georgia State University. 

Lance Query
Dr. Lance Query is the Dean of Libraries and Academic Information Resources at Tulane University. He received the M.A. and Ph.D degrees in Latin American History from Indiana University, Bloomington, and an M.A. in Library Science from the University of Chicago. Dr. Query previously served as Dean of University Libraries at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, MI; and Assistant University Librarian and Acting University Librarian at Northwestern University, Evanston, IL. He was appointed special consultant for administration to the New Orleans Public Library and has served as organizational consultant for the Amistad Research Center. Dr. Query was also a consultant with Sears, Roebuck and Company, Chicago, assisting with reorganizing their corporate libraries during a business restructuring period. 
  
Dr. Charles C. Teamer, Sr.
Dr. Charles C. Teamer, Sr., distinguished business and civic leader, served as Chairman of Dryades Saving Bank, New Orleans and Chairman, Board of Directors of the World Trade Center of New Orleans. Dr. Teamer was President of Sigma Pi Phi and was the 27th National President of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. Well known for his achievements in higher education, Dr. Teamer served as the Vice President of Fiscal Affairs at Dillard and Clark Universities. He has served as a consultant to the United States Department of Education; Board of Education, United Methodist Church; Ford Foundation; Southern Association of Colleges and Schools; and was President of the Southern Association of College and University Business Officers.
 
Ronald Wilson
Mr. Ronald Wilson is a New Orleans attorney who has litigated widely in the areas of civil rights and public interest. Mr. Wilson is a cooperating attorney with the American Civil Liberties Union and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. He is Vice-President of the Legal Aid Bureau. He has lectured for symposia and seminars at universities for the Bar Association in the United States and abroad. Mr. Wilson has adopted and supports the girls basketball team at John McDonogh Senior High School and is a member of the Board at the University of New Orleans Foundation.
